2005 Sawyer Cellars Petit Verdot

Petit Verdot is a grape with roots found in Bordeaux, France that is generally added to blends where its dark thick skins produce deeply colored, spicy and aromatic wines. Dark plumb in color, our first estate bottling of Petit Verdot opens with a nose full of cardamom, blackberry and black currants that carry through to the palate. Intense, yet balanced tannins up front transform to a smooth elegant finish with hints of mocha and cinnamon. Enjoy now, or hold for ten to twelve years.
2001 Sawyer Cellars Estate Library Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Our 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% varietal and was aged for 24 months in the finest French Oak barrels. Blended from a variety of root stocks and clones selected from throughout our 50 acre estate vineyard, this is a complex wine elegantly displaying what a Rutherford grown Cabernet Sauvignon should be. Black currant, blackberry and bing cherry aromas are present on the nose, with additional mocha and a hint of liquorice present on the palate. The finish is all Rutherford, with soft, delicate tannins providing a smooth, lingering finish. A graceful and refined wine! Drinking well now, this wine should age beautifully for seven to nine years.

2004 Sawyer Cellars Library Reserve Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Our 2004 Estate Library Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is made from carefully selected grapes grown on our estate vineyard and is barrel ages for 37 months in softly toasted, 100% French oak. This wine displays the elegance, flavors and structure that epitomizes the best of a Rutherford grown Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose is filled with blackberry, dark cherry, nutmeg and a hint of toasty vanilla, while the palate shows additional flavors of cocoa, bing cherry and hints of cedar. Enjoy the long, dusty finish that is true to the Rutherford appellation with dinner tonight, or gracefully age this wine for an additional 10+ years.

2007 Sawyer Cellars Chardonnay

Our 2007 Chardonnay was made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the Napa Valley. Barrel fermented and aged for 6 months in French oak from the Allier forest, this crisp and lively Chardonnay presents aromas of crisp green apple and butterscotch on the nose. Apple and pear aromas are present on the palate, along with hints of toasty oak, followed by a lingering finish with citrus overtones. A crisp and refreshing Chardonnay that will pair well with your favorite dishes.
