The nose is filled with blackberry, dark cherry, nutmeg and a hint of toasty vanilla, while the palate shows additional flavors of cocoa, bing cherry and hints of cedar. Our 2007 Chardonnay was made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown in the Napa Valley. Barrel fermented and aged for 6 months in French oak from the Allier forest, this crisp and lively Chardonnay presents aromas of crisp green apple and butterscotch on the nose. Apple and pear aromas are present on the palate, along with hints of toasty oak, followed by a lingering finish with citrus overtones.
