2005 Sawyer Cellars Estate Bradford Meritage
Varietal Blend : 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 14% Petit Verdot
Case Production: 1,770 cases
Stunning garnet in color, this seductive blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, is hand picked at the perfect ripeness each vintage from our estate vineyards. Each picking is kept and aged separately in the finest French Oak barrels for up to eighteen months. At this time, the final blend is made and then re-introduced to age in the barrel for another six months to fully integrate the flavors. The 2005 Bradford Meritage opens with inviting aromas of black cherry, cassis, vanilla and allspice that lead to layers of raspberry, cherry, and clove on the palate. The full body is enlivened by rich and elegant tannins and bright acidity making it a perfect complement to your favorite meal.

Our 2005 Estate Merlot, sourced exclusively from our hand tended vineyard in the esteemed Rutherford Appellation, opens with rich aromas of blackberries intertwined with cinnamon and cocoa. Echoing the vibrant nose, the palate is plush with notes of dark berries and currants, while dark chocolate lingers through the velvety finish. With 24 months of French oak aging, this wine is delicious now and will cellar beautifully for eight to ten years.

2008 Sawyer Cellars Estate Sauvignon Blanc
Varietal Blend: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Case Production: 690 cases
Reflecting the soils of our estate vineyard in Rutherford, our 2008 Sauvignon Blanc displays layered aromas of honeysuckle, melon and nectarine on the nose. The perfectly ripe fruit is hand picked and then sorted before pressing. Fermentation then occurs in 60 gallon French oak barrels where the wine is on the lies for 6 months. In the glass you'll enjoy flavors of lemon, lime and toasted almond, followed by a clean, mineral finish. A lively and full bodied Sauvignon Blanc that will pair well with your favorite dishes.
2008 Sawyer Cellars Estate Rosé of Merlot
Varietal Blend: 100% Merlot
Case Production: 250 cases
The 2008 Rosé was produced entirely from Merlot grapes grown on our estate vineyard. Before fermentation, the deep red skins from the grapes were removed from the juice after just 36 hours, when the desired color was obtained. A beautiful drinking rosé , this wine displays delightful aromas of raspberry and strawberry, with hints of apricot, and a bright refreshing finish. This is a crisp, dry summer sipper!
